Uferhallen Berlin - Going Public With Art Shares
The Uferhallen property located in Wedding-Berlin, has allowed to flourish into a vibrant space for the production and presentation of comntemporary art in the city. The three shareholders of the Uferhallen AG intended to transform the privately held company into a publicly traded company by offering its shares for sale to the general public. All shares were printed, designed by 132 artists and are being sold as real shares. Beyond their capital value, the resulting 3.300 shares are also unique pieces of art.
Each artist was invited to design 25 shares for this project. My proposal resulted into 25 different graphite clouds.
